So we all need our beauty sleep but sometimes it can be hard with the stress from every day life. Missing out on a good night’s sleep can actually make you crave more sugar the next day, causing you to eat more calories. You also need sleep in order to repair those lean muscles of yours.
Loss of sleep can interfere with the function of hormones that regulate how efficiently the body burns fat. So in order to make sure your body is functioning at its prime, follow these tips to help you get a better night’s sleep!
1. Exercise early in the morning
Studies have shown that people who exercise more get significantly better sleep. Also, working out too late in the day can keep you more alert, making it difficult for you to get well rested. If you’re not a morning person, convince yourself to commit to maybe a short 15 minute workout rather than a full hour. Chances are, you’ll feel ready and pumped while you’re working out so you may go even longer!
2. No more late-night snacking
This also just might be one of the problems behind your stubborn weight-loss problems. Stop eating about 3 hours before you plan on heading to bed. This will also help prevent stomachaches late into the night. Also, try to include more protein in your dinner to help keep you fuller longer so you’re not reaching in your refrigerator late at night.

3. Be consistent
Consistency is extremely important when it comes to the health of your sleep patterns. Don’t try to make up for sleeping late on the weekdays by sleeping in on the weekends. Instead, try to condition your body to sleep at the same time everyday. A consistent schedule will prevent late night toss and turns.
