While the weather is still so nice and we all love to take advantage of Mother Nature’s generosity, why not enjoy some of these mouth-watering summer smoothies to stay hydrated and refreshed? All you need is a blender, and some creativity! Here are some of our smoothie ideas:
Healthy Strawberry Smash:
-2 cups almond milk
-1 cup frozen strawberries
-1 tablespoon honey
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Super Charged Smoothie:
-1 cup frozen blueberries
-1/2 very ripe sliced banana
-2/3 cup peeled, sliced cucumber
-1/2 cup water
-1/2 cup non fat vanilla yogurt
-1/2 cup crushed ice
There are so many different ingredients you can add to make a delicious, nutritious smoothie, and the added bonus is they are packed with PROTEIN!
