Hey ladies! I am so excited to share another one of my favorite recipes with you. Like last week’s healthy treats, these protein bites are super easy to make and prepare. For me, it takes less than 5 minutes to make so it’ll definitely be good for those of you who may not have a long time to prepare a healthy snack for the day.
Also, the protein bites are left to chill overnight in the freezer so in the morning you can just grab them and go before you head out the door! Also, they’re not too messy to handle so they’re perfect for snacking at work or in your car.
Now, enough talking, let’s get to the recipe!
– Protein Bites
– 1 cup of whole oats
– 1 tbsp of chia seeds
– 2 tbsps of peanut butter or almond butter
– 2 tbsps of honey
– 1 tbsp of flaxseeds
– Handful of chocolate chips
Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl until they’re evenly mixed. Next, grab about a spoonful and roll them into little balls in your hands (get them hands dirty!). After, put them in the freezer and let them chill overnight and they’ll be ready for you the next morning when you wake up!
Feel free to substitute with any other healthy ingredient that you would like. There are seriously so many ways you can make these protein bites, it’s crazy. This recipe just happens to be the one I use the most because the ingredients are usually always laying around in my kitchen. But if you want to get adventurous, you can shoot for coconut or even banana protein bites!
I really hope you enjoyed the recipe. Let me know what you think and if you’ve try different variations that you would recommend. I would love to hear from you!
